Thank you to everyone who sent such warm messages celebrating the book’s recent award. Your joy adds a beautiful layer to this journey.

Sometimes we regret saying too much; other times, we regret not saying enough.
Today, I realized I haven't said thank you nearly enough to the core supporters behind this mission.

Having shared the world of Computer Science work, I’m thinking specifically of two dedicated supporters who also served the country. From the early stages of the manuscript to building the website and launching periodic activities, they gave their most valuable assets: time and insight. One, a Marine, has stood behind every step up to today; the other, a veteran of the Army and Navy, walked with me through my initial releases. Their quiet, steadfast support embodies what I wrote in the memoir:

When you face objections or feel lonely in your purpose, remember why you do what you do. You might find support from only a few—those with the strength to lead. Some don’t even say a word, but do everything they can to support you. They know they are not helping just one individual but assisting many.
— Chapter 19: Secret Thoughts and Personal Messages, Conclusion

Whether you are in the office, at home, or on the road today, I invite you to carry this energy of gratitude. Take a moment to say the thanks you may have forgotten to mention recently. This simple recognition helps us find the good in others and sparks the unique role we each play in the world.

With gratitude,
